About BeUTherapy
BeUTherapy was born from a simple but transformative belief:
Healing begins the moment you are free to be fully yourself. Not the high-achieving version. Not the strong one everyone depends on. Not the version that keeps it together.
But the whole you.
We are not here to help you simply cope. We are here to help you rise — rooted, restored, and emotionally aligned.
About The Founder
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples through trauma, life transitions, anxiety, identity shifts, and self-worth challenges. I hold dual Master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Southern California.
My work centers around three deeply connected areas: Identity. Partnership. Motherhood. Because for many ambitious women, those areas don’t exist separately — they collide.
I specialize in trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), integrating evidence-based approaches with relational depth and cultural awareness. My approach is not one-size-fits-all. It is intentional, collaborative, and tailored to your lived experience.
I have served as a therapist, educator, and consultant across clinical and community settings — but my work is not only professional. It is personal.
I am a mother of three.
A wife.
An advocate for Black maternal and child health.
An author and speaker.
The lessons I carry from motherhood, partnership, advocacy, and leadership inform how I show up in this space — grounded, emotionally attuned, and deeply respectful of the complexity you bring.
My Philosophy
I believe healing is both individual and collective. I believe women can be strong and still need support. I believe identity shifts are not breakdowns — they are invitations to rebuild more consciously. And I believe therapy should feel safe enough for truth, structured enough for growth, and deep enough to create lasting change.
My work is especially committed to supporting Black women, mothers, and families — while remaining inclusive and affirming to all who enter this space.
You deserve to be seen beyond your roles.
You deserve support beyond survival.
You deserve to feel rooted in who you are becoming.
