Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I am currently in the process of becoming credentialed (paneled) with major insurance companies. In the meantime, sessions are available on a private pay basis, and I provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

How much do sessions cost?

Session fees vary by service. A full fee schedule is available upon request.

Sliding scale options may be available based on income and need.

Payment is due at the time of service via a secure online platform.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?

Therapy is for those seeking healing, emotional support, or clinical intervention for mental health conditions. It is only available to residents of California.

Coaching is more goal-oriented and future-focused. It supports personal growth, identity work, confidence-building, and mindset shifts. Coaching is not clinical and is available to clients outside of California.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Click the [Contact] button or email us directly to schedule a consultation. After your consultation, you’ll receive intake paperwork and access to the secure client portal for scheduling, messaging, and billing.

What is your cancellation policy?

24-hour notice is required for all cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.

What can I expect in my first session?

Your first session is all about connection. We’ll spend time getting to know you—what brings you here, your goals, and any questions you may have. This isn’t about rushing into “fixing” but creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen and heard. Together, we’ll set the tone for your healing journey.

How do virtual sessions work?

BeUTherapy sessions are offered through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. You’ll receive a private link before your session and can join from your phone, tablet, or computer. All you need is a quiet space, internet connection, and yourself. We keep the process simple so you can focus on what matters most—your healing.

Do you provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement?

Yes. If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, we can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We recommend calling your insurance provider ahead of time to confirm your coverage.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. You’re also welcome to use HSA/FSA cards if you have them. Payment is processed securely at the time of each session.

Do you offer sliding scale or reduced rates?

We believe therapy should be accessible. A limited number of sliding scale spots are available based on financial need. Please reach out directly to discuss current availability.
